Tell me about public blockchain apps that do not involve objective money or objective identity, which require strict global consensus, why they should be built on public blockchains, and why haven't they been built yet? I'll consider writing a post, when I get back to it, to explain why it does or doesn't make sense

a land title registry -- a db of all land, who owns that land, and what rights/liens are associated with that ownership requires consensus so there are no disputes and so ppl can buy/sell with confidence needs public blockchain because govts illegally confiscate land idk if its been built or not

The said land titles follow the laws of the land, though. So, a blockchain will do nothing, unless it's part of the legal system.

It may be the de facto system in places where govt trust is low, or may be part of the legal system in places where thats important I’m thinking of situations like this https://archive.is/2021.04.11-152557/https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2021/04/how-land-reform-underpins-authoritarian-regimes/618546/
