Warpcast

What are the issues you encounter that prevent Warpcast from being a world class app in the social category?

Mainly on mobile and compared against apps like X, Instagram, Bluesky and other network heavy apps.

I wouldn't compare it with Telegram and WhatsApp for example since those are local-first apps, which Warpcast isn't.

I'm not sure this is something that is solvable at all, but: it still feels too cringe to share URLs to it.
Sharing out of social apps is critical, but I can't send Warpcast links to normie friends without outing myself as a crypto person.
(Maybe I need to get a different set of friends! But those are already on FC.)

Wannabe contributor for /walletbeat.

Censorship resistance requires privacy.

Perhaps /someone-build a Farcaster frontend that just displays one conversation thread without showing account names or links to anywhere else, just for the purpose of sharing the raw contents of a single thread of conversation. Might be a cool weekend project.

It's unfortunate that there's this stigma.
The only way to get rid of it is to normalize it.
