Progress on ReadCast! Pulling in reviews from the /books channel. Displaying them on the book page. Would you want to/expect to be able to respond to reviews here? Or would you just want to leave your own review (if applicable)?

@keccers.eth you mentioned wanting to be able to mark books mentioned in the books channel as to be read. What do you think about responding to reviews? Something you’d expect or outside the scope of what you’d use a dedicated client like this for?

You can do this on Goodreads! Click the camera at the top of the search bar. Accepts covers and barcodes

That’s pretty sick functionality though. Would be a cool thing to add if/when this app gets traction

Likely out of scope, but the book app ux thing I crave is when in a bookstore i can take photo of the cover .. and it be recognised and sends me to book info + reviews.

Would you leave a review if it resulted in a cast to the books channel? What if it was just a star rating?

Not inclined to leave my own review

Would be cool if each book aggregated the people who recommended it, and could click through to the cast that does so

would love if i can find my old reviews easily and not lose them when hubs delete older casts
