Anyone have any best practices for rate/frequency of archiving new versions of a file? e.g. diff size > threshold, set time/periodicity of backup? 

I'm looking for an arching system for my zettelkasten, and I don't want to pay for arweave uploads every time I tweak the frontmatter of a .md note haha, but I do want robust version history (and thankfully .md upload cost is cheap).
