It's beautiful. "Nornickel organized a 3x3 basketball tournament on board the container ship Talnakh in Murmansk. The playground among cargo containers turned out to be extremely atmospheric. The pictures went viral in foreign media as well.

And here's someone who does, marketing not through ugly-fashion, it's NASA and Reebok. Together they released 6 different models of sneakers that were inspired by retro-futurism. The models look very cosmic indeed. In addition to sneakers, the collaboration will also release hoodies, pants, shorts, t-shirts and jackets.

Pepsi released a collection of merchandise in collaboration with Spanish streetwear brand Pompeii. Against the backdrop of Spain's victory in Euro 2024, the main source of inspiration was soccer. The designers sought to revive the spirit of Pepsi's advertising campaigns from the early 00s, which featured many of the strongest soccer players of the time. The line, designed for both men and women, includes t-shirts, sweaters, a light jacket and a cap. Each item is adorned with the recently updated Pepsi identity, which the brand hasn't changed in 15 years.

The employer is currently offering about 10 roles, including furniture showroom consultants, salespeople at the cash register, and cooks to prepare virtual meatballs. Employment is paid in real money and is €15 per hour, but at the moment only adult citizens of the UK and Ireland can apply for such jobs.

Levi's released a collector's edition of the Rubik's Cube in partnership with Rubik's, the official manufacturer of the iconic puzzle. The distinctive feature of the collaboration was the replacement of colored plastic with textile materials from the famous clothing brand. The blue color is made of denim, classic for jeans, while the other sides are covered with dense tweel in matching shades. The price for the limited edition piece will be $50.01, referencing Levi's most popular jeans model.

A cool example of how South Korean brand Ader Error turns its customers into walking ambassador ads. While everyone uses gigantism in CGI videos Ader Error uses this technique in the real world. These huge brand packages are definitely hard to miss on the street or subway. And people who have made Ader Error purchases are likely to enjoy walking the streets of Seoul with such shouting bags.

Something on the beautiful. Now all the world's media are viralizing the parade uniforms of the Mongolian national team for the upcoming Olympics. I wonder how many people around the world learned about the existence of Mongolia thanks to this uniform? Even more interesting, how many will want to visit the country after that?

I came across an old but very cool advertisement for the marker manufacturer Stabilo. The slogan of this advertising campaign is “Highlight the outstanding” and its essence is that on black-and-white photos with a marker they singled out, at first glance, inconspicuous women from the crowd. But the whole idea is that these women are actually outstanding. The first photo is Edith Wilson, wife of US President Woodrow Wilson. She was the one who ran the United States after Woodrow suffered a stroke. In the second photo, you can find Liz Metner. She discovered nuclear fission, but it wasn't her who won the Nobel Prize. Guess who did? That's right, the male co-author of the study. The third photo tells us about Katherine Johnson. She's the reason Apollo 11 came back. She was responsible for all the calculations to bring the mission home.

I wonder how Nike held on for so long? Nike is now laying off employees who were responsible for the web3 division. The company is implementing their cost optimization plan that will save them $2 billion. So they are now focusing on innovation for their core products and taking the focus away from areas they deem not a priority. Nike actively entered the world of web3 and NFT, bought the whole company RTFKT, which created NFT-sneakers and obviously counted on super profits from all this. Optimization touched not only the web3 sphere, the company also closed the NIKELAND space in Roblox. It seems that now Nike will approach the introduction of high-growth innovations with more restraint.

A rather funny case happened with the Chinese company BYD, which bought a huge number of advertising slots at Euro 2024 to play its promo at every match: the brand forgot to make a German domain for its landing page, so when curious Germans typed the query BYD into search engines, they came across the site of "Buy Your Dildo" - a German sex shop of the same name. Apparently, there were so many hits that the store even had to write on their homepage that they are not sponsored by Euro and leave a link to the real BYD website 😂

Remember Apple's "Filmed on iPhone" campaign? Well, Faber-Castell, a manufacturer of pencils and other stationery, decided to make a campaign "Filmed on Faber-Castell". The idea of the campaign is as follows: artists created hyper-realistic images with Faber-Castell pencils. The image with two zebras looks particularly spectacular.

For two weeks, Spotify has made it possible for absolutely everyone to upload video podcasts to its platform. As Spotify Vice President Maya Prohovnik said, "video is becoming a core part of the Spotify global experience." By the way, she shared some numbers, for example, more than 170 million users worldwide watch video podcasts on Spotify. The data on the number of monthly active users is also very good: those watching video podcasts, up 40% from last year. And now the platform has made it possible to comment on those video podcasts. Internet snaps are now officially on Spotify too.

Heineken in South Africa has launched a rather amusing eco-initiative. They decided not just to recycle their bottles, but to make them into designer collections of home goods and accessories. To do this, they teamed up with local designers and created different items from rings to table sets to pendant lights. The perfect set for true fans of the brand.

Ever heard of the so-called "Moving Day"? It is a popular tradition that appeared in Quebec, Canada many years ago: every year, in the summer, on one day (usually July 1), tens of thousands of families living in the city pack up their belongings and move out. The reason for this is that rental agreements are usually for one year and end on July 1. So, the Canadian KFC decided to play this infopodovod rather amusingly, having launched an advertising campaign "Finger Licking": they offered compensation in the form of a free trip to the restaurants of the chain for those who will inevitably hurt their fingers during the move. That could be splinters, sprains, paper cuts or broken fingernails. All you have to do is post a statement about the injury on a special website and then get a tasty compensation 😁
