Been seeing this as a university instructor over the past decade β€” massive decline in critical thinking/problem solving. They don’t know how β€” all answers are in their pocket. And they don’t care to learn how. It’s frightening.

Is there any new or novel form of pluck or verve that you notice in your students. A sort of adaptive intelligent response to a changed environment that just looks different? Or is it just decline? (this makes me sad…but that nothing to the inner sadness they must be feeling trapped in this new reality)
