3 responses 1. I also went to the sushi place that accepts bitcoin in 2013 and it worked. 2. Excited for ERC-4337 so Farcaster addresses can be smart contract wallets & have the ability to do off-chain signatures for Farcaster. 3. Do you see a world where all Ethereum transactions are privacy-preserving by default?

Saw a 6529 tweet a while back: "Privacy is great, but look at the 6529 Museum account on Etherscan, the history of that address is unique and cool, and won't be seen if privacy on Eth is the default" (paraphrased).

People can still make galleries and share publicly. Trad social media is very open. You can also use zk proofs for hybrid public/private scenarios. For example, do token gating without revealing exactly which allowed NFT you have.

Privacy by default is an important thing to have to make sure people using the Blockchain maintain civil liberties and are protected from the government in cases of dissent in authoritarian states. As others have mentioned, people should be able to opt-in to making parts of their history public in a verifiable way
