3 responses 1. I also went to the sushi place that accepts bitcoin in 2013 and it worked. 2. Excited for ERC-4337 so Farcaster addresses can be smart contract wallets & have the ability to do off-chain signatures for Farcaster. 3. Do you see a world where all Ethereum transactions are privacy-preserving by default?

Some thoughts: 1) the transaction confirmation issues reminded me how CC cadd transactions had to be confirmed by phone (!) 2) I sometimes forget that I need 2 actions (approve and deposit) and end up not depositing funds to a staking service, for instance. Account abstraction might solve this?

For purchases of coffee or tea, it will be hard to top cash transactions in terms of UX, privacy and settlement but thanks for trying and sharing your thoughts, @vitalik.eth!

Idk about defining good UX as not being for the average case but rather the worst case. unanimously loved UIs work as they should 99.9% of the time. when it doesn’t for some outlier, it’ll often be remedied quickly. For your level of technical acumen it’s fair to want gritty details but most people don’t fran

I'll add to this list: I once lost a sizeable amount when I sent my wallet address to a client and I had accidentally sent the Tether smart contract address instead. How to fix: 1. Wallets should warn if sending to a locked contract (if possible). 2. Ledger should make it easier to grab your own address :( 3. Use ENS
