I was disappointed to discover that only the 200 operators with the largest stake can participate in actually running EigenDA. I'd love to hear a take from @sreeramkannan or others in the know what role is envisaged for solo stakers I'm the EigenLayer ecosystem.

Validators derive a significant proportion of their yield from proposing blocks - both proposer rewards on CL and tips on the EL. Since this leads to increased reward variability (which hurts small stakers) wouldn't it be better if there were no CL reward for proposing, or even a fee?

Interested in reactions of folks here to the issuance changes discussed by @caspar + @ansgar.eth. Would a reduction in yield make staking unviable for you? Back in the day there was big effort made to keep price chat out of r/ethereum, with r/ethtrader made for that purpose. A shame to see no such effort this time around and /ethereum already dominated by speculation chatter 😢

On the bird app I'm setting takes that today's block production issues are an argument to prioritise ePBS for Electra. I'm curious whether there is anything appealing approaching consensus around an ePBS design.?

Enjoyed listening to this. As an Eigenlayer solo staker, what is the best course of action when EigenDA eventually launches? Can I run the AVS myself at launch? Is this preferable to delegating?
