Happy 12 Days of Christmas! In Japan, a sneaky KFC franchise owner convinced an entire generation that Americans ate KFC and Christmas Cake on Christmas Day. Hint, we don’t, but it’s HUGE business in Japan! I got to enjoy some right before I left and it was quite yummy! KFC in Japan is way better than KFC in America!

Oh, that’s a tough one. Thanksgiving is probably 80% Turkey, but Christmas can be very dependent by family traditions. Turkey, Ham, Roast, or a family favorite dish is probably the highlight of the meal. Many families also have special side dishes that only come out of the holidays.

Oh interesting, somehow I thought Turkey was also for Christmas. We spend Christmas here with chicken from Costco and potatoes haha. Was very good actually. Now for the New Year more Japanese way with soba and tempura.

Lots of people do Turkey for Christmas too! It’s really hard to find them outside of November and December and the normal grocery store. Roasted chicken is also very popular! I think now anything goes as long as it’s delicious!
