So channel memberships didn't go exactly as planned. I've spent the last 10 hours testing the current moderation set ups and tools on my 13 channels and here are my initial impressions (a thread)...

I also tried Cura on my channel /stolen but it's way more high touch that I'd like to deal with right now. I decided to make the channel open after playing with it for a few hours.

If you want to curate who is in your channel, review applications, and pick and choose who can join, this is the tool for you. I want to automate, set and forget, but this can be very powerful for those who want to take a more hands on approach.

yes, right now we're focussing on manual curation, but early next week, we'll have a bunch of automatic criteria (like automod/modbot) in addition to manual curation. Also going to be adding content/top casts which moderators can easily pin to channels.
