I just bought two whole raw chickens on sale. I’ve never disassembled a whole chicken before. 

I feel accomplished that I learned something, and I really got exponential value for my dollar. 15 meals for $18. 

I may buy another one just so I can practice disassembling it..

In culinary school, we had to do this 100 times. I can do it with my eyes closed. It’s worth learning. Not sure about Canada but in the US, they can claim that the chicken is all American but it’s legal to ship to to china for processing and then send it back. That’s disgusting. How many times could the chicken not be kept at the right temperature, get contaminated, etc. 

I cut all my own meat when I can!
