What does the mindshare think?

@mvr brings up some excellent points in the OG cast. I’m interested to hear what others think. 

Farcaster feels even smaller to me but I can’t tell if it’s because of my drastic time zone shift.

The more I look at this, the weirder it gets. When we add in “reaction” data, we actually have LESS orphaned casts. 

Orphaned casts are casts that get zero engagement (no likes, no replies) and it used to hold at about 80%, but now it’s DOWN to 70% (meaning more casts are getting engagement). 

Has quality on the network improved by 10%? If so, maybe that’s a win?

Yeah, it's not the first time i see this pattern in my data, casts and active users stable or slightly decreasing, with engagement increasing at the same time:

Now that’s a good theory! @mvr could this be backed up with data? Can we see who gets tipped the most?

from my experience: bot farms and airdrop farmers activated by tipn and tip tuesday

now their engagement translates directly to usdc

if i like their cast, they get 1 cent instantly, if i respond they get a chance to be among the people i tip (i press the tip all button) on tuesdays

it seems like they are trying to figure out what @woj.eth's algo is for picking the top people to tip
