Would love to hear theories on how we lost 100,000 good caster (label 2) spam labels. I wasn’t online as much this week and I’m definitely sheltered in my algo bubble at times, but this feels extreme. Maybe last week’s huge jump was the fluke and this is closer to normal?

I think they way people are using Q/c and spamming may be thats the main cause for this

It seems the 'Label 2' criteria might have shifted, leading to more bans. This is highlighted by my Thai friend's case: despite a six-month break, he returned to find he's still labeled 0, effectively banned.

Too much crowd control now. Users have been given the tools to control their own feeds so why all this automated spam control? Normal individuals are being affected and it's really annoying. Friends can't even claim tips. No clear info on anything. What's really going on with this millionaires club?

I think that last week was an abnormality. Although it doesn't seem to be hard coded, it appears they are driving by percentages: 50% not enough data 50% enough data - of that 25% spam - rest 25% -- 2/3 of 25% = 17% might be spam - 1/3 of 25% = 8% is no spam Perhaps they tweak the system to keep approaching these percentages, so that changing behavior doesn't cause you to escape the system.

I've had a good caster (label 2) since September of '24. and I think mostly a lot of people flipped out because of the advent of weekly warpcast awards, because they started pushing their quotes to move up the leaderboard and get the $ 100k is a big number, but I'm sure 80% of those users did just that and lost label 2
