Yall don’t watch enough anime since so many people are confused about White Day. It’s the reverse Valentine’s Day when men give white chocolate (and other gifts) to women who gave them chocolate on Valentine’s Day. It’s a very different tradition in Asia than in the West. Happy White Day!

Today, March 14 is White Day in Japan! This is traditionally when men reciprocate giving chocolates to women (who gave them chocolates on Valentine’s Day) so there are a lot of adorable gift sets all over! I picked these up for friends but I’m keeping the TAIKO NO TATSUJIN bag for myself and it’s going to hold my tour headphones and my back up battery!

How often do you think White Day appears in anime?

If I were to rank the tropes I see in shoujo animes, I'd guess it's: sick day > culture festival > Beach day/excuse to see girl in less clothing day > Valentine's day/White day > School trip

But White Day might tie with beach day

I was literally confused until i googled it 😅
