I hope everyone in the bucket is being reviewed! I saw a few people get unlabeled today, which gives me hope!

2. We will likely do a clean up at some point to give some group of spammy users a second chance

Only post in friendly channels with good moderators who are active daily and working on the channel daily

I’m a writer and an editor. I love art, literature, music, and to drink good coffee. I practice Ashtanga yoga. I’m here to connect and learn. 

I find it a bit tricky for new accounts bc they don’t have many followers. They might be confused as spammers if they try to engage with new people.

The team has to manually remove the label. It’s very difficult.

I don’t have a spam label but I want to highlight that there is a big problem in this system: Priority Mode.

I will try to explain better, replies from people without power badge are not seen by big accounts with priority mode on, this makes casts to have 0 engagement and casters are labeled as spammers. A user without a PB can try to engage with bigger accounts with quality replies, but they will likely be hidden under the view more button, the user will get a spam label, and the big account with priority mode on won't notice anything. Small accounts in order to get a PB will have to work 100x harder than without this weird system.

We don’t have priority mode anymore, but some people do have priority notifications on. Also, your mention tab is limited. So if you get a lot of replies or tags in a short time, you can’t scroll back and see them all.

It sucks @v et al seem unable to build and ship this feature in a state that works like they describe a month ago that it should work

Ironically, in spite that I have/had a Powerbadge (RIP), my activity’s pretty casual which goes ditto for the engagement I get on it in return.

Seems like they still can’t solve spam how it’s described here I guess
