Mobile wallets have terrible UX. That's one problem. But more importantly, do they not have terrible security too? It seems like a huge downgrade from hardware wallets. What am I missing? (I hope the answer is not "passkey wallets" because that seems even worse.)

I think most people don't care about this (or just don't understand the risks) as i never seen it mentioned at all on here, especially with so much contract stuff done through frames now (warpcast use is predominantly mobile, i believe). It's the first thing i think about whenever doing anything with crypto.

Some mobile wallets work with HW wallets. That's the only way I ever use them.

The majority of finance is now on mobile for better or for worse. Also mobile pretty much has the same tech in the hardware wallet.

CB is the best in the market, built-in browser works all the time. The only thing i miss is passkey. Soulwallet has this marked as "coming soon", looking forward to trying it. non-evm, Bravoss is the best.

The only way mobile experience gets truly good is when Google / Apple properly embraces this tech. OR a native Web3 company launches a successful phone. Till that time, I tell me friends I've onboarded to just use desktop for now (which they ignore and I gotta end up figuring out mobile for them after they're stuck).
