BlueSky raises a $15M Series A with Blockchain Capital as lead. My bet is that BlueSky will come home to crypto despite community pushback. Crypto is gravity. https://bsky.app/profile/bsky.app/post/3l7bie3qmil2t

I'd say they have more mainstream journalists who left X b/c of Elon. For the same reason, the community leans heavy left, similar to Mastodon. Content is mostly political but maybe that's because it's election season. Overall I like the protocol design a lot more than I like the early community, It's still very much an echo chamber like Mastodon. The big thing is that the protocol is agnostic to the transport and storage layers. A user's PDS (Personal Data Server) which contains their posts/likes/etc could be stored on anything from a traditional Apache webserver to a long term storage layer like @ethswarm, and served over HTTPs, IPFS, sync, whatever. Farcaster is still very tied to the Hub architecture and is a lot more opinionated about where the data is.
