For the record, I am of the strong opinion that this is true of current as well as former lawyers: hire us for small teams! We're like utility professionals. "They can take on many roles, including finance, HR, business development, business operations, and, of course, legal. I am not entirely sure what it is about a legal education, but I feel that it prepares people to be effective across a range of activities."

A friend told me that if I needed to hear “no” 99 times to get to the one “yes” i should be thankful for getting another “no” in the rearview mirror. 🤷🏽‍♂️ can’t say it worked *right* after a rejection, but it got me psyched to keep on applying.
