One reason I'm skeptical of dashboards: here is the /books channel over the last 90 days On paper things look great; it is growing up and to the right. Qualitatively, I know many of these posts are low quality or outright fake. Identifying and filtering protocol level spam is ~the~ challenge for clients to solve.

that feels true, but one could also argue that if it's a protocol level challenge there should be a protocol-level solution

agree and i think folks like openrank will power data providers and all clients downstream will get good baseline signal. Nook and supercast are already both using OpenRank for customized feeds. Suspect end of summer we’ll be in a good place. Clients well staffed and capitalized to tackle spam will be few imo.
