Are most hypersubs not subscription to an individual same as patreon? Not a rhetorical question I actually don’t know but that was my impression. One of these days I’ll dig into hypersub to learn more. Seems like a great product saw their recent 1m to creators milestone super impressive

I'm not very knowledgeable about Hypersub I never heard anything that felt compelling enough to give it a shot as an artist when many of my peers jumped on the bandwagon, although that was largely because I doubted that anyone would subscribe to an artist who struggles to sell his art The underlying streaming token mechanics of AlfaFrens were interesting enough for me to give it a shot, and I was surprised to see people subscribe (and to still have 50+ subscribers despite the huge churn the platform has seen since the initial flash of interest died down) I currently have one of the more popular channels on AF but it's far from profitable Would love to know if anyone has deep enough knowledge of both platforms to give a solid breakdown of the differentiating features, relative strengths/weaknesses, and what an artist or other creator should consider when choosing which to use, if either
