None of the subsequent Halos ever compared to the original’s death matches. I had a TV stacked on top of a TV (when TVs were still stackable) for networked Halo multiplayer. Xbox Live is great, but sparking in-person meltdowns is pure magic.

Good warthog driving/gunning. Back in the day I was the driver for my clan in Halo 1 on PC. An absolute menace. Was common for my warthog gunners to go 20, 30, 40+ kills 0 deaths. I could deflect sticky grenades with my windshield and drive circles around incoming rockets.
