if no expanding frontier, no (gotta make room for new blood) else, yes but not in same old physical form. would eventually prefer to migrate consciousness to some other computational environments

being like a full cybrid would be epic so eternal life unless i mess up and get doinked by some alien or exploration mishap could eventually be annoying to be alive i guess so max like maybe 10k years

I want to embrace the full experience of being human which includes death. I am happy to live to my natural end, which I define as for as long as I stay me.

Assuming reasonable health, yes, I’d love the choice to live as long as I want. I don’t know if that will be “forever”, but pretty sure it will be well longer than anyone has gone to date. This may explain why some say no: https://blogofjake.com/2020/12/28/escaping-the-pro-aging-trance-hope-for-longer-healthie

At one point I was looking into after-death body preservation solutions Recently I’ve been thinking of living the duration of my health-span given available medical technologies Upon the death of this form of being I’ll let it happen

As long as you can have decent lifestyle why live less? There’s always more to do especially if you have purpose

It would largely depend on the quality of life. If your body is degrading at some point it’s not worth it..

While my health is good I wanna take advantage of it as much as I can. If that continues I would be happy if I make it to 80+
