My bold bet: he will immediately change the default from free to a subscription. This is the only true way to deal with bots, grow the business rapidly, and free culture from the editorial leverage of advertisers all at the same time.

Biggest shift will be culture. Elon can get the best engineers in the world to work with him. Mainly expect to ship waaaay faster, less spammy, go back to its roots.

Likely more talk than actual changes. It's a behemoth of a codebase at this point. I am skeptical tbh. Knowhow to turnaround an aging social platform is a totally different skillset than founding TSLA or SpaceX.

My guess is that the most notable changes will be in feed algorithms. My feed is tolerable because I use "latest." On the other hand, my tweets see negligible engagement for 4k followers, and I suspect it's because I'm not ragey or controversial. On the company side I expect a purge and new execs obviously.
