Is it really about “free speech” and “anti-woke,” or are we just avoiding the real issue of how crucial soft skills are in tech? Being a good engineer is more than just writing code—it’s about collaboration and empathy too.

There used to be a place for people with low to no soft skills in tech. The change was forced on them by some of the same people who now criticize them. Real "diversity" includes people that just want a dark room and a hard problem to solve every day.
