Why don’t you give up the imperial system?

For distances and weight, I totally agree. Imperial is dumb. 

But Fahrenheit > Celsius for the human experience. It was literally invented based on human body temp.

What's the human experience difference in saying it's 24 deg vs 75 deg?

Until I moved to the US, I thought 0 deg C was very cold. And 30+ deg C was very hot.

I still do.

In F: 0 is really really cold. 100 is really really hot. Everything in between is nuance 

In C: 0 is cold, but not that cold, really cold is like -10. 100 is you’re very dead 

I personally don’t care about the temp that water turns to a solid / gas at for my daily living.
