You can then save the conversation and review it later to memorize the learned mental models.

Good question, maybe they only have access to debates and critics but most of the time they are able to give very accurate answers about specific topics so something tells me that they read a lot of books completely.

Sometimes i give them the data tho if i have it.

whats the source of the recap though? models do not have access to the books from what i know.

i can see how that’s useful but i’m afraid lots of people will use these methods to read more “productively” and miss the joy of reading just for the sake of it
