The Olympics felt more washed this year

Like a grand tradition that doesn’t quite live up to its past years’ glory

Thinking it might be correlated with the general breakdown of the current world order, and may be yet another signal of a rearrangement to come

Is it just me, or anyone else feel this vibe?

There is a sense in which the Olympics is the nation state s most idealistic expression

The post ww2 order with nation states covering every inch of the globe since the sixties is wavering
