My family is going to Paris for a few days in March. Where is the best area to get a hotel so that it's simple to go around the city and do all the sightseeing. We're planning Versailles one of the days as well. Is public transport pretty good? Also would love any general tips if you've been!

If you want to have a special dinner - book the dinner at Langosteria - amazing view and one of the best food
