Thanks for the list! I'm not a nomad, but I don’t have all of that stuff. I always live in a way that’s ‘ready to move somewhere tomorrow.’ I really feel like I want to settle down, but definitely not where I’m right now.

Good point! I feel like I need to take a step forward towards feeling at home, even though I'm not in my forever home yet:)

My partner and I are quite settled, with a toddler son, but we expect to continue moving often over the forseeable future (and have done so a lot in the past)

We purchase fewer high quality lifetime objects, and move those around with us — you can still be ready to move quickly/easily without sacrificing on things that make for a happy environment today

But this is just one perspective, and there are costs associated with it that aren't everyones cup of tea
