This yoga teacher I like is ex college football player who got into yoga bc he has the same messed up back I do (shredded lumbar spine discs) He told me to get into toe spacers Tried them yday Was like ā€œI donā€™t get itā€ until ~30min in when I ripped them off bc ow Anyone else ever tried these? Attia likes too

tried them but then realized same one size fits, bit of fad and thereā€™s a better way: figured gait/posture corrections, did 10min daily walk/exercise for 3-4 months. much better now. oh also throw away tight socks and toes/feet crushing shoes eg nike metcons. very happy with xeroā€™s toe box. tyr for olympic lifts

Ngl I donā€™t like when people go barefoot at the gym but I get why you do it, thereā€™s a lot of overlap between what youā€™re doing and what I have been working on wrt healing and protecting my back

i know re: barefoot šŸ˜ž my latest solution is to carry my own thin yoga mat to cover the squat area and sanitize upon exit
