The Fox News host who was previously nominated for Surgeon General just got axed for Casey Means

I actually think Means could do a lot of good in this position, although I am cautious about self-serving given her many ties to various private wellness companies and role as founder of Levels 

The advice she dispenses generally boils down to 

Don’t overeat
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Limit alcohol, tobacco, and drugs
Get 7-8 hours of sleep
Exercise
Avoid environmental toxins

Although she regularly promotes TONS of expensive stuff to help you achieve the above, you don’t need expensive stuff to do any of it

My biggest qualm is that she never actually finished training or is licensed to practice at all. 

Or in other words: Never made a clinical decision impacting another persons life as her own responsibility.

Nesheiwat in that regard has Means beat in spades, although I guess one of the reasons for her withdrawal is that she didn’t get her degree at an American university (the other reason being support for COVID vaccines)

Yeah, all these people suck. I am embarrassed and ashamed I used to ride hard for some of them.

i know what you mean! i spent a year+ on this myself. don't regret it b/c im glad i learned and now don't get suckered into paying $500 for $80 blood tests or $300/mo supplements etc but not having a healthy public health system or only having doctors who push agenda is a disgrace. it's even worse when what everyone is concerned about is how a startup can maximize payouts via superbill-fu etc.
