Degen Layer 3

Another question about Degen L3. If $DEGEN is the native token, yet we are settling to Base/Ethereum, doesn't that mean constant sell pressure because we are constantly trading that DEGEN used in gas for ETH?

Sell pressure

Most users on Degen L3 probably already have DEGEN bags

When they use those bags for gas, it gets sold for ETH to settle down to L2 and L1

sell or buy pressure? its users paying for the gas which then payed back to L2 to settle the transaction.

I feel like it would be much more powerful to have gas in ETH and use some % to buy back and burn the token, or even better to buy back and distribute the token with RPGF or grants

I used to think this but the reality is: 

- Market doesn’t care because fees are so low 
- sell pressure of other chains via distributed inflation of tokens is likely worse anyway
