Idea that I've had for a while to solve the limited ⚫ ⚪ 🔵 🟤 🟢 🟠 🟣 🟡 🔴 issue: Registry that uses reverse-Harberger taxes or some other mechanism where the "tax" is the amount of funds streaming to the collective. If you contribute the most, you "officially" get to use that emoji.

Do communities like $DEGEN and $APE who launch L3s using their own token as gas actually realize that this creates a constant stream of sell pressure in order to settle with ETH? Or is there some right-curve logic for this that I'm not aware of?

Another question about Degen L3. If $DEGEN is the native token, yet we are settling to Base/Ethereum, doesn't that mean constant sell pressure because we are constantly trading that DEGEN used in gas for ETH?
