This is exactly why I don’t get the best of three sets in tennis slams for women. They handle the long run better than men.

I played a lot of tennis growing up and currently do longish distance running - I find the two very different in terms of exertion. The hard part about tennis (cardio wise) is not so much the amount of running, but the constant accelerating/changing directions. It's like you're doing lots of mini sprints with rest in between vs. running a marathon you just kind of turn your brain off and go at a moderate pace for a long time.

Women play the same amount of time in basketball as men. The same in volley, soccer, rugby, etc. The type of sprints and rest is similar to tennis. Why women are facilitated only in tennis and not in any other sport?

oh I see - I have no answer for that. I was only commenting that women's very long range running outperformance wouldn't necessarily translate to an advantage for a sport like tennis.
