Depending on the position IMO. Tech positions - too much time devoted for mentoring and little ROI. Sales and marketing - great ROI and phenomenal bootcamp for future employees with little cost. Just hired two interns for the whole summer and helped my clients facilitate the process.

Useful things to implement in digital marketing: - Google Analytics 4 - when properly implemented you can get info about the origin of traffic and phrases that led to traffic - HotJar - you can see recordings of users website behavior and heat maps that will tell you what to optimize

To be honest I’m not a fan of hiring any “growth” people or building a sales team before actually building a marketing machine. Leads should always come before the sales team.

I’ve seen this a lot and couldn’t agree more. Whenever I was trying to convince founders to take more time to try out business case they were always so convinced about their vision that in 90% of the cases they ended up focusing on product.

Looking at this from a perspective of entrepreneur being relatively new to blockchain I find to sometimes hard to believe how poor the marketing is for some projects despite the amount of funds at their disposal. I wonder why is that so far away from a “classic” business approach.
