Why doesn’t Nouns use a tool like Snapshot for elections and big votes? It’s a pretty standard for most major DAOs. Agora has already done a nice job integrating this into their governance feeds.

It feels like the Duna reserve role could have been handled through a tool like Snapshot (and maybe some other proposals too) before being moved onchain.

Introducing NounPoll: polling based on Noun voting weight!

Some questions lend themselves better to a quick poll than a prop, a few examples: 
* Help with setting DAO parameters
* Help teams funded by the DAO prioritize what to work on next
* Help gauge voter sentiment around an idea before diving deep into the solution
* …

I think maybe not in its current form. It should ideally integrate with where people are already voting

Multiple choice options can only happen when all parties present themselves at the same time. We could have multiple choice onchain too but coordination between nominees is required to get them in the same prop at the same time.

should this responsibility be on the nominees to do this?

I’m sure there will be a more formal process next time. This first run was just the kick off.
