Why doesn’t Nouns use a tool like Snapshot for elections and big votes? It’s a pretty standard for most major DAOs. Agora has already done a nice job integrating this into their governance feeds.

It feels like the Duna reserve role could have been handled through a tool like Snapshot (and maybe some other proposals too) before being moved onchain.

Tradeoffs for sure. Have to answer would more surface area create more clarity? and does the benefit outweigh the cost?

I was pretty close to launching a ranked choice poll for the DUNA reserve role during the last nouncil call on snapshot, which anyone with a Noun can use. I agree it could have been a great tool for this situation.

Neat, seems like it was used to temp check ragequit in the past. Pretty valuable.

Introducing NounPoll: polling based on Noun voting weight!

Some questions lend themselves better to a quick poll than a prop, a few examples: 
* Help with setting DAO parameters
* Help teams funded by the DAO prioritize what to work on next
* Help gauge voter sentiment around an idea before diving deep into the solution
* …
