Why doesn’t Nouns use a tool like Snapshot for elections and big votes? It’s a pretty standard for most major DAOs. Agora has already done a nice job integrating this into their governance feeds. It feels like the Duna reserve role could have been handled through a tool like Snapshot (and maybe some other proposals too) before being moved onchain.

If you want to incentivize liquidity on $nouns or any other Noun backed token I would recomend setting up LP rewards with Merkl on the Uniswap pools. Can also possibly looking into products like Gamma or Beefy’s active liquidity management tools to help keep liquidity bands in range. https://merkl.angle.money/

I was initially drawn to Nouns because of its grassroots approach — a group of strangers on the internet coming together to coordinate capital. It felt like Nouns still embodied the magic of what a DAO was originally proposed to be. Over the past four years, we've worked with a number of DAOs, many of which have gradually shifted towards more traditional corporate structures, adopting KYC processes, grants committees, working pods, and increased admin overhead. While I dont view these structures as inherently bad, as they off offer a lot of benefits, and regulatory peace of mind. They do risk losing some aspects of decentralization if not managed carefully.

Swaps by the Numbers. We looked at swaps that occurred over the past 80 days (excluding noggs farmers) Here is what we are seeing: * Total Swaps: 22 * Via $Nouns: 16 * Via Treasury Swap Proposals: 3 * Via Pending Treasury swaps: 3 Of these * Purchased at Auction: 19 * Purchased on Secondary Market: 2 * Via Governance: 1 12 of swaps were created less than 8 days after the noun was acquired. Do swaps help drive demand to purchase Nouns?

An interesting turn of events in Compound. Was it a governance attack? Over the last while voter participation in the protocol has been down and passing proposals had become increasingly challenging. Will be interesting to see what will happen from here.
