As far as I can tell, nearly every headache I’ve ever had was from being dehydrated. 2-4 LMNT packets a day has been a clutch upgrade to life ( no idea if this works if your diet and metabolic stay is subpar)

You can’t stay hydrated with just water, I doubt there are side effects if you’re already healthy, if you’re not already at a high fitness level, quality diet, and good sleep then I can’t say

yes true, because it doesn’t contain electrolytes. you need a balanced diet. i saw a situation where someone using lmnt had bad side effects, made him more thirsty and he was bloated. maybe he wasn’t healthy and his body couldn’t handle the high sodium levels

It's all about balance. Electrolytes are a precarious balance of many different minerals in your body. Too much of any electrolyte is bad for you. If you drink beverages with added electrolytes but you don't need them because you're not physically active enough to lose them (heavy sweating) then you'll get sick from the excess in your body. Consuming electrolyte supplements is only for otherwise healthy ppl who are dehydrating from physical exertion. Most less active ppl get what they need from diet alone. I use electrolyte supplements whenever I do anything that results in lots of sweating. If you're missing needed minerals in your diet, the balanced supplement won't inherently correct the imbalance. Eg. High sodium diet but no potassium means you just need potassium. Or you might just be low on magnesium to properly hydrate. Gotta start with a balanced diet.
