I always take these statements with a grain of salt. This paper used absolute state-of-the-art AI methods and was still several person-months of work. And in the end it's just a proof-of-concept. AI is not magic (yet). https://doi.org/10.1016/j.patter.2023.100865

This is the natural reaction the first time people use these models. Certainly what I felt too in the first month of using ChatGPT and MJ in 2022. But turning the initial wizardry into repeatable business value is hard. We're going to see a lot of those stories play out in 2024
