Today was a holiday, but it was a strange day. The power went out all over the country. It's never happened before. In my city, we were without power for six hours, so I took advantage and went to see some boats leaving the port. Have you ever been without power for that long?

In my country, because of the war, we often go without electricity. That's why we stocked up on power banks and flashlights.

I've experienced something like that, it feels very confusing when living without electricity, especially when the cellphone battery runs out, it's very annoying 🤭

En 2019, creo que un día del padre todo el país se quedó sin luz (salvo una provincia en el sur). Acá tuvimos suerte y volvió a las 2-3 horas

I grew up in Papua New Guinea, had multiple day power outages at various points through the 11 years I lived there. We were slightly less reliant on it than we are these days now though... Main concern was food going off in the fridge.
