More and more sites are waging a war against VPN usage

- I recently had my bank account portal locked because they detected a VPN
- I can no longer access imgur or creditkarma with a VPN turned on
- Many people are reporting issues with Reddit on a VPN (not me, yet)

privacy is normal

Not sure how much value I'm getting out of using vpns and privacy emails. Most of my stuff I have to split tunnel (Bank apps, CEXs, etc) and use Gmail. Skiff and protonmail get rejected by a lot of services/websites, and vpns get picked up and blocked from access.

i still have pretty good luck with mullvad too by the way

I still struggle with VPN stuff sometimes but i rarely turn it off and split tunneling unfortunately isn't supported on MacOS. it makes me irrationally angry and indignant when i can't reach sth on a VPN and i often just refuse to use the service if i can
