One of my goals this year is to lower my participation in social media and mainstream pop culture because the standard of beauty has become too uncanny valley for me

I recommend deleting instagram from phone and logging out as a first step. I'm not on TikTok so, that was that for me. Made a difference for me - also in how I see the world. You can stop looking for instagramable things and just live life.
