it’s a feature not a bug people want convenience more than ownership now. subscriptions and “as a service” models give us instant access without the hassle of storing or maintaining stuff… it’s great! we traded long-term ownership for on-demand convenience.

some good and some bad. Some services it makes more sense than others. But in the end we will own nothing and be happy. Sounds like you already agree

Absolutely—it’s a clear trade-off that aligns with how people prioritize ease and instant access over ownership today. The “as a service” model works because it meets that demand for convenience and flexibility without the long-term commitment.

i think « not to own anything » is actually a very profound concept. there is nothing i own except myself in the world, the rest is an illusion

Absolutely! Convenience really drives today’s choices—subscriptions and “as a service” models let us focus on using rather than owning.

Interesting take bro 😄! Convenience definitely drives a lot of our choices these days. It's wild how so much has shifted to the 'as a service' model, things we never thought would be subscription-based. It makes life easier, but it’s also kind of surreal to think about how little we actually 'own' now. 😍😅
