Memecoins are a slap in the face to the serious, technical founders who dismiss brand and storytelling as an unimportant afterthought. That is part of why I love them. The other part is mental illness. 

Memecoins are the result of retail investors' growing sophistication and skill at avoiding obvious scams: overvalued private market deals attempting to exit to retail at sky high FDVs.

The only problem is externality pricing.
