short moving to usa / big cities to chase career long staying close to your parents & family life is too short to spend the short overlap when your parents are healthy and you are a grown up adult to spend it grinding for an O1 in san francisco (obv doesn't apply to americans)

+1 My parents are from America. I moved to the Middle East for work for two years. Soul crushing. Ended up moving back to be closer to family and start my own. PS there’s nothing inherently wrong with where I was. Just chasing things for the wrong reasons crushed my soul.
