Classicly, to incur a level of personal risk so as to be included in achieving a greater goal. Imo one’s mental energy directed towards something is a better proxy than purely monetary exposure. Also, low barrier to have non-zero skin in the game. You don’t have to be all-in to be in 🧠 😎 🧐
