Everyday on video standup vs async updates on slack?

1-2x video standup a week, but make it meaningful. Would keep the text updates for status updates and standup for resolving problems / blockers or issues that touch upon issues that affect a significant share of team. Otherwise no one really listens + only useful for the manager.

agreed. Fan of video/ voice standup once a week to air out nuances, debate items back n forth in terms of priorities. 

Moving async first as an org is tremendously helpful to keep people working on the things that matter rather than too many distracting meetings.
