And don’t care what your opponent in the debate / argument thinks… care about how they think…

Are they really a monopoly? Revenues are all from Search/YouTube ads, Cloud/Workspace & Play Store… growing these businesses will be very hard… they have never been very good at anything else so the bet is on driving $ from Gemini and that’s not going gangbusters. Search was a monopoly but after OpenAi I doubt that continues…

I love it when a character acknowledges the audience or the fact that they are in a story, disrupting the narrative illusion. Deadpool is notorious for this.

Don’t accept it… understand it and fight against it… Who Is Responsible: 1. Trump What He Did: Promoted “fake news” rhetoric, discredited media. Result: Eroded trust in mainstream media among conservatives 2. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube What They Did: Allowed disinformation and conspiracy theories to spread unchecked. Result: Amplified false information, deepened echo chambers. 3. Russian Disinformation (Internet Research Agency) What They Did: Spread false stories and stoked division in the U.S. Result: Undermined trust in American institutions and elections. 4. Fox News, Breitbart, MSNBC What They Did: Promoted partisan, sensational news catering to specific ideologies. Result: Increased polarization, fewer shared facts. 5. Alex Jones & QAnon What They Did: Pushed extreme conspiracy theories. Result: Fostered distrust in government and media, fueled fringe movements.

To change this society would need to instill critical thinking skills from an early age, encouraging individuals to question authority rather than blindly follow it. The public education system would need to prioritize reasoning, skepticism, and ethical decision-making over rote memorization and compliance. Alongside critical thinking, ethics should be a core part of a curricula, with a focus on moral responsibility. People need to be taught that they are accountable for their actions, even when under the command of authority. Since many parents, parent poorly only public education can keep people from being born into groups like the US MAGA movement.

https://futurism.com/the-byte/trump-truth-social-stock-overvalued Truth Social’s performance acts as a barometer of 45’s broader appeal. The declining value could suggest waning confidence in his political future among some investors, as the platform’s fortunes are tied to his personal brand. If the stock is a “half-proxy” for his reelection prospects, as the article suggests, its poor performance may hint at underlying doubts about his viability as a candidate in 2024.

A tip and a government tariff are similar -both are additional payments on top of a base cost. A tip is an extra amount given voluntarily to service workers, while a tariff is a mandatory tax imposed by a government on imported goods. In both cases, the idea is to provide additional compensation: a tip rewards the service provider, while a tariff helps protect domestic industries or generate government revenue. As you see here both costs get passed on to you..

E/acc - I have questions… How do you ensure that accelerating current trends will lead to positive change rather than unintended harm? What if the chaos resulting from acceleration empowers forces that oppose your ultimate goals? How do you reconcile the potential suffering caused by accelerationist strategies with ethical considerations? Are there historical examples where acceleration led to the desired systemic change without significant collateral damage?

It’s either I’m getting smarter or Claude.ai is getting less smart-and I’m not getting smarter… All afternoon I’m getting “I apologize for the confusion in my previous response. You are correct, and I thank you for pointing this out. Laravel indeed does not allow…” Seems better now Does the quality of response depend on the server load or something?
